The University of Lynchburg Humanist Community is a secular group open to all students on campus and especially for those who identify as spiritual but not religious, secular, humanist, atheist, or agnostic. Focusing on the here and now, and it often holds talks about the meaning of life from a non-religious perspective. This community is a safe space for freethinkers, a place to talk about how to contribute to humanity while being one’s best self. Moreover, the Humanist Community is a group dedicated to respectful dialogue and work with both the spiritual and religious communities of the University.
This group is fully open to and inclusive of all students as members or potential leaders without discrimination.
This group is open to students of any religious or secular tradition.
